Privacy policy
EVILBANE Guide is a small, static, English-language fan site. This page explains what is collected when you read it, by whom, and how to stop it.
What the site itself stores
The site does not have accounts, comments, logins or forms. Nothing you type is sent to this site. There is no first-party cookie set by the site's own code and no server-side database of visitors.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID starting G-GKY7FP3HQ2) to count page views and see which guides are read. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives your IP address, user agent and the page you requested. The data is aggregated; this site does not join it to any identity.
To opt out of Google Analytics across every site that uses it, install Google's official browser opt-out add-on, block googletagmanager.com in an ad or script blocker, or use a browser that clears cookies on close. Any of those stops the measurement on this site entirely.
Advertising
Advertising on this site is supplied by Adsterra, and ad units are configured to load only on devices with a fine pointer — a desktop or laptop with a mouse — so phones do not request them. Where an ad is served, Adsterra and its demand partners may set cookies or read device identifiers to select and measure it. Blocking third-party cookies, using a content blocker, or reading the site in a private window prevents that as well; the pages themselves work identically with every script blocked.
Search engines
The site publishes a sitemap and standard metadata so search engines can index it. Google's own crawler activity is governed by Google's privacy policy, not by this page.
Third-party links
Guides link to the Steam store page, the Netmarble game site, the official EVILBANE Discord and YouTube. Once you follow one of those links, that service's own privacy policy applies.
Children
The site is written for adult players of a mature-rated action game and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
Changes and contact
If the partners or measurement on this site change, this page is updated and the checked date in the footer moves with it. Questions about privacy can go to wuzhihun_shen@outlook.com, the same address used on the contact page.
