EVILBANE system requirements
EVILBANE is a Windows PC game. The store listing asks for a 64-bit Windows 10 system with 8 GB of RAM, an i5-9400F or Ryzen 7 1800X and a GTX 1060 6 GB or RX 580 6 GB; the playtest notice asked for 16 GB.

EVILBANE runs on Windows PC. The Steam listing asks for considerably less memory than the playtest announcement did, so this page puts both figures side by side rather than picking one, then covers the platform and input details that are already settled.
Minimum, as the Steam store page lists it
| Component | Requirement |

Recommended, as the Steam store page lists it
| Component | Requirement |
|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 (64-bit) |
| Processor | Intel Core i7-10700K 3.80 GHz or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz |
| Memory | 8 GB RAM |
| Graphics | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT |
| DirectX | Version 12 |
| Network | Broadband internet connection |
The memory discrepancy, stated plainly
The playtest announcement listed 16 GB as the minimum and 32 GB as recommended, while the store page lists 8 GB in both columns. Both are first-party. The most sensible reading is that the playtest build was a heavier development build and the store figures describe the shipping target, but that is an interpretation, not an announcement.
If you are planning a purchase around this, plan around the higher figure. 16 GB is the safer assumption for a modern co-op action RPG, and the playtest number reflects what the game has actually demanded from real players so far.
The playtest's own figures, for comparison
| Component | Playtest minimum | Playtest recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 | Windows 10 |
| CPU | i5-9400F 2.90 GHz or Ryzen 7 1800X 3.6 GHz | i7-10700K 3.80 GHz or Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz |
| RAM | 16 GB | 32 GB |
| GPU | GTX 1060 (6 GB) or RX 580 (6 GB) | RTX 3060 or RX 5700 XT |
The CPU and GPU tiers match between the two lists — it is only memory that moved.
Platform status
| Platform | Status |
|---|---|
| Windows PC (Steam) | The listing platform; app 3718160 |
| macOS | Not supported on the listing |
| Linux | Not supported on the listing |
| Xbox | Wishlisting available on the Microsoft Store |
| PlayStation | Not listed |
Linux is a live request on the Steam discussions, and there is no announced plan for it. Xbox wishlisting exists, but no Xbox release window or parity detail has been published.
Controllers and input
- Full controller support is listed, and the playtest FAQ confirms both Xbox controllers and the DualSense work.
- Key bindings are configurable under Esc → Settings → Keyboard & Mouse, with movement keys locked.
- The interface runs on both schemes: keyboard hints like F1–F8 for emotes, and gamepad equivalents such as LB plus a direction on the D-pad.
Network and co-op requirements
- Broadband internet connection is required in both columns — EVILBANE is not an offline game.
- Operations run with an elected host, so connection quality affects how quickly a run starts.
- In-game voice chat is built in and does not need a third-party client.

Quick verdict by machine
- 8 GB system — matches the store minimum on paper, but below what the playtest build actually asked for. Expect it to be tight.
- 16 GB system with a GTX 1060 or RX 580 — sits on the playtest minimum. Playable, with the graphics API set to DX11 if it stutters.
- 16 GB system with an RTX 3060 or RX 5700 XT — the playtest's own recommended tier apart from memory.
- 32 GB system — covers both lists with room to spare.
