EVILBANE has no release date. The Steam store page lists it as To be announced, Netmarble has not named a launch day, and the last public build was the first Steam playtest that ran 15–19 October 2026. Everything on this page is what the official material settles, and where it stops.

What the playtest calendar settled
The playtest announcement confirmed the schedule twice — once on 1 October as a planning note and again on 13 October as a locked date. That is the only dated milestone Netmarble has published for EVILBANE so far:
- 15 October 2026, 08:00 UTC — servers open, Playtest requests already approved start working
- 19 October 2026, 08:00 UTC — servers close and all playtest data is wiped
In Pacific time that window reads 15 October 01:00 to 19 October 01:00; in Eastern time 04:00 to 04:00. A five-day test, with sign-ups still approved inside the window as long as you allowed up to 24 hours for approval.
What is already decided
Even without a launch day, several launch-shaping decisions are public:
- EVILBANE ships on Windows PC first; there is no macOS or Linux build on the listing.
- It is a co-op action RPG for up to four players, with single-player and online co-op both listed as categories.
- It carries a mature rating for blood and dismemberment, an 18 rating in Germany, and a 16 rating in Brazil.
- It uses Easy Anti-Cheat at kernel level, and the store page warns that the anti-cheat requires manual removal after you uninstall the game.
- The store page carries an AI generated content disclosure: generative AI was used in a supplementary capacity for some background object assets, UI icons, some localisation elements and voice, reviewed and refined by the development team.
- A War system covering 2 continents, 10 regions and 46 territories is designed and described by the producer, and was explicitly not part of the first playtest.
What is still open
The release window, the price, the business model, the launch content scope and whether the War system ships at launch are all undecided in public. Anyone quoting a quarter or a price is working from something other than an official announcement.
How to be told the moment it is dated
The three channels Netmarble actually posts to, in the order news reaches them:
- The official EVILBANE Discord — the announcement posts say test news lands there first.
- The Steam store page news feed for app 3718160, which is where the playtest schedule and the developer notes were published.
- The Netmarble game site, which collects notification sign-ups for testing news.

What to do before launch
- Wishlist the store page. It is the only official mechanism that tells you when the page stops saying To be announced, and it costs nothing.
- Read the playtest FAQ once. It is the best documentation of how the game actually plays, and it is the same document that will describe launch mechanics.
- Plan for the wipe. Nothing you earned in October 2026 carries forward; the official line is that playtest progress is reset when the test ends.
- Settle the anti-cheat question for yourself. Kernel-level Easy Anti-Cheat with manual uninstall cleanup is a real decision for anyone who keeps a locked-down machine.
